We are now Plant-Based Community | Chapel Hill & Beyond, a member of PCRM’s Building Healthy Community network. We also honor our roots as the group formerly known as Chapel Hill Plant-Based Nutrition Pod, part of the former PlantPure Nation Pod movement inspired by Kim and Nelson Campbell and the many local Pod members who helped make plant-based community possible.

What we mean by plant-based.

We are vegan always, whole-food plant-based focused, and originally rooted in oil-free education. Some members still choose or need strict oil-free, gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free, or other considerations.

Thoughtful labeling helps everyone feel safe, included, and welcome at the table.

Vegan Always Community food shared at our gatherings should be fully plant-based.
Oil-Free Helpful for members following strict whole-food plant-based plans.
Gluten-Free / Nut-Free / Soy-Free Helpful for allergies, sensitivities, and dietary needs.
